Flicka is our oldest dog. She is 13 years old, and
definately the Top dog of them all. Now a crotchety old
so and so.... But I love her. She did very well in Obedience
competitions until her retirement. Dash is a Blue Merle
Collie and is 10 years old. He was rescued from a farmer in Cumbria who
was going to "Bucket" him at 2 hours old, until a friend stepped in.
He is such a wimpy boy, but so nice.
Beth is a Blue Merle aged 7 years old. She was chosen
from a pen full of older puppies who were trampling all over her.
She was sooo tiny I just had to take her away.
Milo is a Tri-Colour. He is 5 years old and a brother to
Janna. He is the "lightening" of all our dogs and nearly always
gets the ball first. If Beth happens to get it he immediately
pinches it from her. Sometimes he is sooo naughty but so handsome
we forgive him!!!
Janna is your typical Black & White collie. She had a very
bad start to life. Breaking a bone in her leg when only 10 months
old.(Due to some moron leaving a pane of glass on the field)
She spent over a year being treated, having plasters, wires and
alot of surgery, nearly resulting in amputation of her left leg.
She now copes very well with her disability and doesnt even mind
having her leg "put up"into her collar when exercising (See 2nd pic)
. A True STAR of a dog.
