Here are pics and information of a few of the precious rats sadly departed and now at the Rainbow Bridge.

Pheonix - 1998 - 2001

.

This is our beloved Pheonix, our very first rat who showed us what loving and affectionate pets rats can make. Without her we would never have met all the wonderful ratties we have now. Nor would we have had the pleasure of meeting so many good friends.

She didnt have the best start in life. We rescued her from someone who couldnt take care of her. She spent the first year of her life in a cupboard with very little food. She was with lots of other rats who unfortunately died, (probably from starvation) and sadly she had to eat her own mother to stay alive. She lived with us to a ripe old age of 3 1/2 and enjoyed a full and varied life. She went everywhere with us, even sometimes to school in my daughters jumper!! (Naughty Samantha!!) She loved dog shows too as she gained alot of attention, enjoying every minute of it. She was always friendly and won over many an anti-rat person. A true ambassador for Rats.

Rest in Peace our darling Pheonix. Always loved and never forgotten.

Lanie

.

Lanie was a very special rat, a topaz doe. Unfortunately we are unable to show a pic of her (due to a broken scanner). She had a short life but hopefully a happy one. Our rattery is named in her honour.

God Bless you Lanie.

Jovi - February 2002 - October 2003

. Jovi was a Blue Agouti, the nicest lickiest rat you could ever wish to meet. Everyone who met him loved him, he was just like that. We were very proud of him, he fathered a number of lovely litters and won BIS and RBIS on a number of occasions.. Sleep Well wonderful Jovi you will be sadly missed by us both.

Topper - July 2001 - December, 2002

. Topper was a beautful Topaz buck and a truly gorgeous rat in every way. Everyone who knew Topper loved him, he was that kind of buck. We still cant believe that we are never going to be able to cuddle him again. He will be remembered in our hearts for ever. He was pts as he had kidney failure, and it was so quick that we never had a chance to say goodbye. So Goodbye Darling Topper we will miss you so much.

Echo - May, 2001 - January, 2003

. We cannot believe that our beautiful Echo has gone to the bridge. She was a wonderful girl in every way possible and we will miss her so much. She has left behind a gaping whole in our hearts that can never be filled. We love you and will never forget you. RIP Echo

Digit - October, 2000 - August, 2002

. Digit was an Agouti Dumbo, our very first introduction to wonderful Dumboes. He was an absolutley adorable rat with never a cross word to anyone (rodent or human!!). He was our gentle giant and we will never forget him. We have his grandchildren and are hoping for his greatgrandchildren and we can only hope that they have the same wonderful temperament as he did.

Rest In Peace our wonderful boy.

Bubble October, 2000 - May, 2002

Bubble had to be pts 7/5/02 after a very short illness. She was our first Dumbo Doe and a delight to own, (even though she was the ringleader of the "naughty girls"!!!). She is the founder of our Dumbo line and a truly gorgeous rat in every way. We have her grandchildren who have inherited her wonderful temperament and sense of fun. (They too eat our sofa..LOL)

Always loved and remembered Our Darling Bubble
